2023 Impact Scholarships
Do you want to make a difference? Whether your aim is to make a positive impact on your local community or to change the whole world, your passion could pay off.
We're offering Impact Scholarships in 4 key areas to bright and ambitious students planning to study in the UK this autumn — read on to learn more.
The Community Scholarship
Will your degree help you to make a positive change in the world? Submit a 2-minute video or 400-word Impact Statement explaining how your chosen degree will make a positive impact on you or your community to apply for an award of up to £5,000 for your UK pathway course.
Availability: UK students. Awards of between £3,000 and £5,000.
Application deadline: 15 April 2023.
The Women in STEM Scholarship
Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, known together as STEM, are traditionally male-dominated fields. We'd like to help more women break into these areas, so we're offering scholarships of up to £5,000 to high-achieving female students who explain in a 400-word Impact Statement or 2-minute video why they want to pursue a degree in the STEM field.
Availability: UK students. Awards of between £3,000 and £5,000.
Application deadline: 15 April 2023.
The Career Focus Scholarship
Making an impact isn't just about how you can change the world — it's about how the world can change you. That's why we're offering scholarships to students wishing to study our pathway course with integrated internship in the UK. To apply, submit a 2-minute video or 400-word Impact Statement explaining how work experience will help you achieve your career goals.
Availability: UK students. 50 awards that cover the cost of the internship term (approximately £1,350).
Application deadline: 15 April 2023.
The Sustainability Scholarship
To celebrate World Environment Day, we're giving scholarships of up to £5,000 for students who wish to study a sustainability-related degree. To apply, record a 2-minute video or write a 400-word Impact Statement explaining what you understand by "sustainability" and the steps we need to take to preserve our planet, and how your degree supports this.
Availability: UK students. Awards of between £3,000 and £5,000.

How to upload a YouTube video
Step 1:
Log into YouTube and click "Create" in the top right-hand corner. When prompted, add your video.
Step 2:
While it uploads, you will be taken to a screen where you can add a title, description and thumbnail.
Step 4:
Click 'Save' to complete the process. A pop-up will then appear, allowing you to copy a direct link to the video. All done!
Step 3:
Click 'Next' until you reach the 'Visibility' screen. Choose the 'Unlisted' option so only people with a link can view the video.
Some of our UK university partners below will also offer scholarships of between £2,000 and £3,000 to selected students in addition to the awards above. This applies to all 4 Impact Scholarship themes.
You do not need to apply separately to be considered for one of these awards, and you'll be notified if you've been selected for one at the same time as your pathway Impact Scholarship.

"This scholarship will help me further my education while also supporting my desire to give back to the community.
If I didn't have access to such an excellent education, I wouldn't have had the same chance to acquire important lessons that will aid me in the future."
